I miss my magnolia and frangipani |
One year ago we spent the last night in our old house before it was knocked down. So hard to believe!!
8 years we lived in this house and looking at these photos I am so grateful to now have the house we do with its fancy things like a bathroom where all the tiles are on the wall and insulation!!
Linking up with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.
My house I grew up in is an awesome old dutch looking house - my parents sold in in 98 and I always dreamed of buying it back one day.. But now they halved the property and put an ugly house on the back half so there is no point buying it back now!!
ReplyDeleteI still live in the area and when I drive pass the old house it brings a smile to my face..
Great memories of the old house, I bet you're loving the new one though, with all it's fancy stuff ;)
ReplyDeleteIf the weather there is anything like it is here I bet you are most thankful for insulation! Cute pics of your boys too
ReplyDeleteIt's great looking back isn't it!
ReplyDeleteLOL we lived in a tiny little shack for 5 years until 2009, then it got demolished ... so I know the feelings ... nostalgia, sadness, thankfulness!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice to have creature comforts! I'm very spoiled and have ducted air (hubby in the biz)!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference a year makes. We live in a shed at the moment and our renovated home is very close to finishing so I understand how grateful you are.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up.
That's such a cute house Ann :)
