English is hard and I need a desk. Just another random #ibot!!

90% Of People Can't Pronounce This Whole Poem. You Have To Try It.

If you can pronounce correctly every word in this poem, you will be speaking English better than 90% of the native English speakers in the world.

After trying the verses, a Frenchman said he’d prefer six months of hard labor to reading six lines aloud.

I found this website on facebook and had to share.  I got to about line 8 before I stuffed it!!

In other news I really need a new printer as apparently we need to be printing stuff as "homework"in kindergarten.  Before I get a printer I need a desk to put it on.  Do you think I can find one I even remotely like.  Back to google on that one.

Linking up my dilemmas with Essentially Jess for #ibot.

  5. Oh this one was too much for a day where I have spent most if it sick in bed! As for the printer, I didn't relaise how awesome it was to have one till we bought a reliable one recently and it has made a world of difference! Editng never became so easy till I could print things out! Good luck hunting for a desk Josefa #teamIBOT

  6. I tell you what, nothing makes you realise how ridiculous the English language is like having a 5 year old in prep or grade 1 and trying to teach them how to read and spell and write. And trying to explain the rules of English...O.M.G! -Aroha

  11. Love this poem! At first I thought it was easy, then it got harder and harder. It's a great reminder of how hard it must be for people to learn English as a second language!

  12. Oh Ann, that's impossible! John had to learn English when he came here at age 8, and 33 years later, still struggles with it. I say yay to teachers who have to explain all the crazy word rules. xx
