Comfort Korner - Review and Giveaway

When my very good friend of about a million years came up with this amazing idea of making personalised night lights I had to get in on the ground floor.  I was given one to review and put it through its paces.  At $40 plus postage these are a great investment for a little sanity saving.

Aren't they so very cute and a fun idea to get bedtime to be a little more stress free!!

As you can see the team at Comfort Korner can put just about any image on to one of these night lights.  Making them not just for little ones but for anyone!!  I am thinking of getting one with my logo to pop over my desk!!

Since Kindy kid was given one with his beloved Skylanders on as a "test run" the 3 year old has requested one too!!  The beauty of being able to design your own means I can get one made for him with a plane or space rocket on which is totally what he is into!!

We have had one of these lights for about 3 weeks and it has come in handy a few times now.  The two big boys share a room and bedtime can be a little bit of a battle sometimes!!  The 3 year old has (sadly) dropped his day sleep meaning he is begging to go to bed at 7 ish but Kindy kid is going through that rebellious not going to bed stage so to keep the peace he has been allowed to read in bed for a short time before going to sleep.  This light has been perfect as it gives off just enough light to read but not enough to disturb the other one.

Apart from having a "personalised" light one of the highlights for Kindy kid has been the pull string to turn it on and off!!  I will eventually attach the light to the side of the tall boy but for now it is sitting on top of it!!

All ordering info can be found on the  Comfort Korner facebook page as well as the Comfort Korner store.  Not only are there the cute nightlights available but also some very cute pocket cushions too.  Feel free to contact the team with any questions or queries they are more than happy to help.  They can also help you out with any other printing needs like t-shirts for sporting teams etc.

  1. They're fantastic!
My best tip is to run a first to bed competition and a first to sleep. This works on mine dvery time and they do it for reward (a special treat the next day like a choc bar or whatever.) My Mum did it for me and I swear by it!

  3. Lovely! Best way to get my little one to sleep is a cuddle, a book and a breastfeed!

  5. Oh how cool are they?
My best tip, is to have a routine. Let them know what is expected of them, and they learn pretty quick.

  7. My best tip is that there is no one size fits all approach to sleep. Kids are just little people and like us, they have different ways that they enjoy doing things. Most of all though, keep calm, stressing out just makes you feel so much worse.

  8. They are so cool! I have been thinking about getting a new night light to put in the girls room when they eventually move in together and this would be awesome. I think my best tip in making bedtime easier is a consistent routine for the small one, and some quiet wind-down time before lights out for the big one. Without the wind-down time she is just to hyped and will get in and out of bed for ages, with quiet time she is usually asking us to turn off her light before long!

  9. A consistent routine definitely helps, and for little girls Frozen themed pyjamas and Frozen themed bedlinen will have them pleading to get into their pyjamas and into bed to go to sleep.

  10. Have a really strict and enforced routine. We go to bed with the sun and get up early, I've noticed my kids are much better behaved and not tired anymore since I've stuck to my guns and made them go to bed and get up at the same time each day.

  11. A warm bath and softly read story usually does the trick as a comfy, happy mind sleeps much better

  12. We dont need anymore night lights because I'm a tad obsessed with them so we have more than enough already, but these look great. Love that you can personalise them.

  13. What a gorgeous idea. A night light has definitely helped the bed time battles here. Another thing that has helped with Dora, is promising to come back in for a kiss if she stays in bed. After a few kisses it usually takes about 15 minutes before she nods off. It seems to work for now :)

  14. Oh wow they're so gorgeous. What a nifty idea! We definitely need bed lights here. Miss 6 has a bed light that's in the shape of a tree that's attached to her wall. And then a light moon. It works a treat. We usually do bed time stories and cuddles and before I know it they're asleep on me. xx

  15. My tip would be to take them to the playground in the evening and let them run, jump, play to their heart's content and use up all the energy they have - so when it will be their bed time after the bath, story time routine they will be more willing to sleep and they will sleep much better as well...
