<I cannot wait to be a lady who lunches.  I was quite devastated to learn that our preschool will no longer be accepting kids under 3 meaning Speedy will have to wait until his birthday to go which means in just under 2 years I will be a free woman rather than in 13 months (yes I was counting!!).  I don't mind really though!!  I don't really want time to go so quickly.

The topic of "I must confess" this week is swimwear so here is what you will find me in when I go swimming or to the beach or on holidays.

I grabbed a new cossie from Kmart last time I was there.  $15 tankini and $9 bottoms, bargain.  I got the rashie 2 years ago then found out I was pregnant so it sat in my cupboard and I kept wearing my old stretchy one!!  The boardies are a new purchase last week as my maternity ones have finally given up and have holes in them!!  The green kaftan was a pressie and I live in it when we go to the beach.

I always cover up as I burn very easily!!  Plus as Destiny's Child say my body is too bootylicious!!  The cossie bottoms are annoying as hell with the string but beggars cannot be choosers and the perfect cossie is so hard to come by.  At the moment the shops are big on one pieces which I am not.  I think I might even grab another cossie next time I am shopping as pretty soon the shops will stop selling summer stuff and move onto winter clothing while n is still hot.

This weeks LBD challenge over at Ms Mystery Case is all about the competition running at the moment by a blogging agency to win a trip to Dubai.  I have to admit Dubai is not on my travel list simply because I could not handle the heat!!  I chose this outfit as Dubai has quite strict clothing requirements

Clothing: Woman's clothing may be considered indecent if it is tight, transparent, above the knee or shows her stomach, shoulders or back. Men should wear T-shirts at all times and short shorts can attract the wrong kind of attention.
Swimwear: Wearing bathers outside the beach is against Dubai's decent laws and swimsuits in general should be modest. Nudity at beaches is illegal.

I think my outfit would suit!!

In other news we finally got concrete down in our backyard and after months of having patches of dirt which was traipsed through the house having a garden with grass and no dirt will be fab!!  

We then have to finish off the last parts which I honestly cannot see happening anytime soon unfortunately!! 

Could we all please send all the positive vibes that the new seal for my dishwasher arrives sooner rather than later, 4 days of hand washing dishes has made me realise how much I love my dishwasher!!  



Last but not least, tomorrow is Remembrance Day. The two littlest and I are off to the service at our local memorial.  I was inspired to attend this year as the preschool will be taking the kids who go on a Tuesday and I think this is a great idea so we will be joining them.  I am hoping the school has a special assembly so Kindy Kid can be a part of it too.

We will remember them.

The prompt for the LBD style challenge this week is Mystery Event.  

I don't do mystery very well.  If someone said to me that I was going to a mystery event I would pump them for details.  I barely cope with Christmas, birthdays and Mothers Day as I am usually busting to know what I am getting.  A friend of mine on facebook was surprised with an overseas trip and didn't know where she was going until she got to the airport.  I would be beside myself and would not cope for a second if that was me!!  Fyi she was taken to The Cook Islands, lucky thing!!

However I can keep a secret like nobodies business!!  I am the master of not only buying the perfect gift but not letting on what it is!!  Which kind of contradicts myself, maybe even making me a hypocrite which is the  "Ï Must Confess" topic this week!! 

I really like playing along with the LBD challenge.  I like using polyvore (although I still haven't worked out how to use my own images!!).  I like how you pick something and don't get a price or brand until you click on whatever it is.  All the things I have picked out this week are really cheap except the shoes they were about $400 and that divine bracelet which is roughly $210,000!!  I am adding it to my Chrissy wishlist however I am guessing it will remain a dream!!






In other news I have a cold.  I am totally blaming Mother Nature for the bizarre weather we have had the last few weeks.  Stinking hot one day and then cyclonic and freezing the next.  In case you missed the memo MN it is spring, the weather should be warmish during the day and nice and cool at night.  

Lastly I did not have a song of the week last week.  Which is odd as there are so many awesome songs on the radio lately.   Nathaniel is a winner, we all bop along to this one!!  Hoobastank are included as yesterday I heard them on the "classic rock"radio station, nice work wsfm now I feel a gazillion years old!!


The excitement level in our house is pretty high with the imminent release of the new Accadacca album.  The first song from the album has been given the tick of approval!!

I believe it is a very special persons birthday today  I was going to send a card but instead I got Eddie Vedder to sing Happy Birthday just for them!!
