Another musical day

I am feeling very musical lately.  Nothing makes me happier than a good song blasted really loudly!!

I love that when the first bell rings at school they play a song over the loud speakers.  The first week and a bit it was Alex Lloyd then last week they changed it to Bruno Mars.  Then yesterday when we arrived at school and it was pouring with rain what else but Raindrops keep falling on my head was on!!  What a great start to the day to hear some music.

I am loving the song by NONONO.  It is the song used in a couple of ads that have been on tv lately.  I had to throw in Ugly Kid Joe as I have heard it more than a few times lately love it!!

#FFFi14 and Bloggers Boogie- Story

A new year and a new reading challenge from Little White Dove.  Last year was 13/13, read 13 books in 2013.  I managed 4 which was 2 more than 2012 so I called it a win and am not too sad about it!!  I did however read about 500 childrens books!!

This year is to pick 5 books you have always wanted to read and read them.  Simple!!

I have got 2 in mind so far.  The first is Sycamore Row by John Grisham.  The second is the new Bridget Jones book.  Now I am stumped.  I need 3 more.  I want to read a biography, a non fiction and maybe some kind of classic.  Any suggestions very welcome!!

Turns out Bloggers Boogie is back Yay!!  My 5 for this week are all story related!!  Yes I did add OneD I really like the song!!  Brandi Carlile is from Greys Anatomy, and the last song is from The Princess Bride and I am so glad I rediscovered it today!!

90's flashbacks

Ibot almost wasn't going to happen today thanks to a bout of morning sickness but all good now thanks to going back to bed. Although 2 unsupervised children for 45 minutes have made some kind of mess that will take all afternoon to clean up!! Goodbye blog reading!!

I had the urge to find one song on The Tube and ended up finding so many forgotton gems!! Thanks to Cathy at The Camera Chronicles (sorry cannot make a link work) and her post on 90210 for putting the 90's in my head!!

In honor of the HOTH's uncle's 50th birthday this week here are 5 of the top 100 songs of 1962.  I really love all of these and cannot believe they are 50 years old!!

I just found this and I am so excited as I love music!!  All`kinds of music really.  Here goes

1. Both my kids love this song and as soon as they here it start dancing around!!
2. I loved Karise on the voice and this song is awesome  I could not get the version I wanted off the voice website where at the end of the song Seal is clapping like a seal!!  I can be so childish!!
3. Takes me back to my teenage years!!
4. Love a happy up beat song!!
5. Fave song of the week although I love all Matchbox Twenty!!
